Drop-in Biofuels Take Flight in Commerce City, Colorado
The pilot-scale facility will convert wood waste, agricultural residue, and bagasse—the unused portion of sugarcane—into renewable diesel and jet fuel led by ClearFuels-Rentech. The "drop-in" biofuels produced at the facility will provide a direct replacement to petroleum-based diesel and jet fuel, without any need for changes to existing fuel distribution networks or engines.

LA Auto Show crowns the Honda Civic CNG "Green Car of the Year"
Beating out competitors such as the Toyota Prius and Volkswagen Passat TDI, the Honda Civic CNG captured the attention of many at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. The Honda CNG is the only factory produced CNG consumer vehicle on the market. Honda was applauded for its support of alternative fuel vehicles, which broadens consumer choice as they look for alternatives to traditional gasoline powered vehicles. Honda will be expanding its retail network, selling the car to 200 dealers in 36 states, so expect to see more of these on the road in the future.
